A Series of Seven Spinning Tops

This was my first metals class, “deep-dive,” where the work was self-guided. I chose to explore making a series of spinning tops. initially, the intention was to make a top based on each person who was in the class. In the end, there were eight tops in total, though one wasn’t made like the others (missing the central brass plate). “A Series of Seven Spinning Tops,” formerly known as “A Series of Eight Spinning Tops,” upon graduating, one top was gifted to one of my metals professors.
